Annabelle is originally from central Illinois. She completed her undergraduate studies in Communications at Bradley University. During her time in college she worked as the News Editor of the college newspaper, had a broadcast internship with CBS in Boston, and studied abroad in Paris.

She moved to Wisconsin to attend Marquette Law School. She was involved in Marquette’s mock trial program and was a board member of its moot court team, traveling to Chicago and New York City for various competitions. She held an internship as a mediator with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She was also inducted into the Posner Pro Bono Society for completing more than 120 pro bono hours during her time in law school. After graduation she worked for a firm in Milwaukee handling short and long term disability benefits.


Annabelle joined Kowalski Family Law and moved to Madison in order to handle more family law claims. Our clients undergo major life changes and she believes it is a worthwhile endeavor to help them through difficult times.

Outside of work, Annabelle enjoys traveling, reading, and listening to live music. She loves playing music, either on the piano, which she has played for 20 years, or guitar, which she recently began to learn.
